Dirty Martini's in Glamorous Glasses:
We truly LOVE hearing from our customers and were thrilled when we received an
email from a customer, Sharon W. in Austin, TX.
Sharon entertained guests over the holidays and served her favorite Dirty Martini's in our
beautiful hand painted Emerald Green Butterfly Glasses!! She said her guests liked their
olives vodka-soaked so the shape of the glass worked for them but more importantly they
swooned over the glamour of the eye-catching glassware!
Sharon's note and photos are so great that we asked her if we could share them AND her
Dirty Martini recipe.
Extra Dirty Vodka Martini:
Makes 2 drinks.
6 oz. of freezing vodka from the freezer (Sharon uses Ketel One)
1 teaspoon of vermouth (Sharon uses Noilly Prat)
6 olives (p.s. We personally love Blue Cheese stuffed olives!!! Yummmmm.)
1 ounce of Dirty Sue Premium Olive Juice
Fill your shaker apprx 3/4 full of ice.
Pour your vodka and olive juice into well chilled shaker and let stand for 30 seconds.
While counting, put the vermouth into 2 very well chilled glasses, swirl the vermouth
around the glasses
and then pour it out.
Shake in your shaker the vodka, olive juice and ice.
Strain into your glasses.
3 olives per toothpick. Spear your olives and put them in the glass.
By the way, Emerald Green is Pantone's Color of the year for 2013 and our
Butterfly Glass is offered in a gorgeous combo of Emerald Greens, Aqua and Gold.
(we also offer it in glamorous Amethyst Jewel Tones and a chic Fuchsia Pink/Orange,
both accented with Gold).
Thanks again Sharon for sharing! We cannot wait to try this ourselves.
